Hunt Continues to Invest to Create a More Attractive Hawai‘i Kai Shopping Center

Hawai‘i Kai Shopping Center is being transformed by an exterior painting project, which is creating a polished new look.

In late July, local contractor JD Painting began a property-wide exterior painting project at Hawai‘i Kai Shopping Center. The refreshed palette — crisp white with tan and bronze accents — gives the center a cleaner, more contemporary appearance while maintaining a warm, neighborhood feel appropriate to its East Honolulu setting.

The painting project reflects a broader pattern of reinvestment. As Hunt Companies Hawai‘i enters its second year of ownership at Hawai‘i Kai Shopping Center, the company continues to fund property enhancements that reinforce its long-term commitment to the surrounding community, to the businesses that operate at the center and to the employees who work there.
