Kalaeloa Town Continues to See Strong Leasing Momentum as Hunt Welcomes New Industrial Tenants

Leasing activity in Kalaeloa Town remains brisk, with the area boasting a 95% occupancy rate. The commercial and industrial base of the 500-acre West Oahu community includes roughly 4.2 million square feet of industrial outdoor storage space and 410,000 square feet of building space.

Hunt Companies Hawai'i is proud to welcome S&I Equipment Rentals to Kalaeloa Town, a move that further solidifies the community's role as a thriving hub for industrial and commercial enterprise.

With approximately 4,000 square feet of building space and 65,000 square feet of industrial outdoor yard time, S&I has been able to consolidate its operations in one convenient, single location after a recent move from Kapolei Town.

S&I is a local provider of a wide array of heavy equipment, from boom and scissor lifts, and generators, to water trucks and four-wheel-drive utility vehicles supporting construction, infrastructure and maintenance projects across Oahu and Maui.

Founded in 2023 on Maui, S&I played a pivotal role in Lahaina's recovery following the devastating wildfires that struck in August 2023. The timing of its local rental operation proved fortuitous: S&I supplied the heavy equipment needed to construct the temporary school at the Pulelehua housing development as well as 617 units of temporary housing between Kala'ihia and Ka La'i Ola.

Originally located in Campbell Industrial Park, S&I relocated to Kalaeloa Town to join Hunt's thriving base of established tenants, including Site Landscape Supply, Allied Mechanical, Contech, Global Specialty Contractors, Sunbelt Rentals, Swinerton, Aloha and Concrete Coring Hawai'i.
