Hunt Development Group Hawai‘i Senior Vice President- Development Tony Gaston recently joined Hawai‘i State Senator Mike Gabbard to share about Hunt and its commitment to revitalizing Kalaeloa. It was part of the Senator’s “Listen Story” sessions with the community.
As guests joined in-person and online, Gaston provided updates on construction in the area, including surrounding roadways and the Daniel Kahikina Akaka Department of Veterans Affairs Community-Based Outpatient Clinic set to open next year. It was also an opportunity to share the transformation that has already taken place at places like Wākea Garden Apartments and Kalaeloa Professional Center.
During the session, participants asked about Hunt’s future initiatives in Kalaeloa, the old building across from Wākea Garden Apartments and if there are any plans for an additional solar park. They were also interested in updates on the 400- unit Ka‘ulu by Gentry subdivision, which will include affordable housing.
“Listen Story” was a wonderful opportunity for the community to understand Hunt’s commitment to Kalaeloa as it plans for a vibrant future. You can watch the session on YouTube.
