Three key local executives were recently promoted at Moss Construction.
After seven years with the local team, Doug Rogers was promoted to Senior Vice President of Moss in Hawai‘i. He has executive oversight of the full Moss organization in the state — comprising multi-family residential, commercial and energy-related operations.
Doug is an industry veteran with nearly five decades of experience in construction of high-rise residential, office, health care and educational facilities, and military and government buildings. He is a licensed general contractor and earned LEED AP® from the U.S. Green Building Council.
Matt Jun was recently named Vice President, Hawai‘i Operations. He now oversees all aspects of the operations in Hawai’i, from project pre-construction to completion, as well as new business development. Matt has more than two decades of construction experience — covering retail, single- and multi-family residential, high-rise, mixed-use, industrial, healthcare and hospitality. He is a certified Design-Build Professional® and LEED AP® BD+C who also spent five years as a licensed architect. Matt joined Moss in 2018.
Josh Meyers has been promoted to Vice President of the company’s Hawai‘i Energy business unit, helping facilitate the state’s transition to renewable energy. He is a military veteran with 25 years of experience in construction, including 15 years deploying several hundred renewable energy projects in Hawai‘i and across the country. Over the past decade, he has overseen engineering, procurement and construction of the state’s largest commercial and utility solar battery-storage projects. Josh, who joined Moss in 2017, is a civil engineer and a licensed general contractor in Hawai‘i as well as in a number of other states.
