Hunt representative Colliers is seeking a restaurant for the retail space at Residences for Innovative Student Entrepreneurs (RISE), the innovation center/student housing facility under construction across from University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa.
The retail leasing opportunity at RISE is a 1,700-square-foot space on the ground floor with street frontage at the corner of Metcalf Street and University Avenue. Hundreds of students, faculty and staff will study and work at RISE each day, while 374 will live in the complex above. The prime location is convenient for the nearly 20,000 UH students, as well as more than 1,000 faculty and staff. The nearby Mānoa and Mō‘ili‘ili communities are bustling, and thousands are drawn into the area from across the island by the major University sports venues. Dedicated onsite parking will be provided, and numerous bus stops are just steps from RISE.
The $70 million live-learn-work RISE facility is expected to be completed in Summer 2023.
RISE is fully funded with private, non-taxpayer money. Hunt, UH and the UH Foundation entered into a public-private partnership (P3) to design, build and finance the innovation center.
